Top 2015 Shows and 2016 Events

I’m so grateful for the diverse theatres throughout Indianapolis. Whether its classic musicals or cutting edge productions from off Broadway, each one offers something unique. Here are my favorite shows from 2015. Make sure you keep an eye on these theatres in 2015!   Also, there are a few great events coming up in 2016 to watch for. Sitelines is a new venture. It will feature plays that have never been performed in Indy in spaces that enhance the production. HART will present The Winter's Tale in White River State Park July 21, 22, and 23, 2016. The Indianapolis Fringe Festival takes place every August. Beef & Boards Announces 2015 Season

Beef & Boards Dinner Theatre presents a fabulous lineup in 2015 that includes two new productions to its stage.   The season gets off to a solid start with the classic Neil Simon comedy: The Odd Couple , which marks its 50th Anniversary in 2015. Two Beef & Boards favorites will star in this tale of mismatched roomates, with Jeff Stockberger as the easygoing Oscar Madison and Eddie Curry as the uptight Felix Ungar, who moves in with Oscar after his marriage falls apart. What happens next is nothing short of hilarious! Opening on Dec. 27, 2014, the show is on stage through Feb. 8.   Then starting Feb. 12, the Beef & Boards stage is filled with all things Gershwin as it presents the all-American musical Crazy For You .
